Real-estate has boundless Commission!
Jason Shevenko, is a junior at Washington State University studying Strategic Communication but he already knows what he is going to do after graduation. Real-estate has caught his eye with the endless opportunities and room for growth. He has desires to go into commercial real-estate, selling office buildings and floor space. “That is where the money is,” Shevenko said.
Why Real Estate?
Shevenko wants to enter real estate because he’s seen what it can do for your livelihood. He has grown up around people who have been in real-estate, specifically commercial real-estate and it has sparked his interest. One of his main goals out od school is to make as much money as he can by commission.
His Steps Into The Industry
Shevenko plans on getting industry experience this coming summer by shadowing and interning at the real-estate brokerage that his family friend owns. He will get experience in the field and the office, with the chance to make some money over the summer. On top of this, Shevenko keeps up with housing trends and city expansion, especially when it comes to office buildings. He says the best way for him to learn will be getting the real experience before jumping right into the industry.
